An intentional community near San Cristobal, New Mexico (north of Taos), founded in 1967. Published the Dome Cookbook (Steve Baer, 1968) under the "cookbook fund" — the archive's earliest primary source.
The Lama Foundation also co-published Sol Shot 1 and Flow Shot 1 alongside the Dome Cookbook; all three are listed on the Dome Cookbook cover as co-published by the cookbook fund. Sol Shot 1 poster is in possession, pending scan.
Steve Durkee (later Nooruddeen Durkee) was a founding member and is associated with the Lama Foundation community. Baer's connection to the Lama Foundation runs through the counterculture network that also included Drop City.
The foundation still exists as of the archive's coverage period.
